Frank Saucedo Commissioned for Mural Projects

Posted in Arts & Culture by Omar Ávalos Gallegos on December 26, 2011

Santa Ana artist Frank Saucedo has been commissioned for a number of mural projects at Willard Intermediate school.

Willard principal, Armando Ayala, commissioned Frank to paint a first phase consisting of three murals as part of the major renovations that Willard is undergoing.

The first mural will depict the Massachusetts Institute of Technology dome and logo, the second will depict Harvard University and its logo and the third will depict the Willard logo with their jaguar mascot.

The themes of the murals coincide with the overall collegiate theme applied in the commons area, where pennants of universities nationwide are placed throughout.
